Yesterday I finally go the guitar setup correctly, after months of playing with a really high string action, and a bent neck (not good)... Now it feels like I have a brand new guitar, even if it's more than 15 years old... Yay!!! Maybe that's the good thing about it, you know what you get with that kind of guitar, if it hasn't let you down yet, it probably wont in the long run either...
We are currently working on new songs for the second album, and I have this intro solo in one of the songs, it's not hard in anyway. But I can't for the life of me get it to work while we rehearse this song... At home, no problem at all, I have even set the speed for the song up to 130 or 140 percent, and I can kick it off without a glitch or anything... But when all of us are at the rehearsal room, it's like there's this really hot chick that clinges to my guitar, and won't let go, and make me fuck everything up...
The album layout is finished, and a promo package has been set together from our photo session with Mattias, and from the art work from Jean Pascal Fournier. Everything will be sent out as soon as we have checked the text one more time (you can never check enough times, and there's usually some errors slipping by anyway, but I hope we have killed em all)...
Now all prework for the album layout is done, now I'm just waiting for the final high resolution images for the artwork, and some texts, and I will have everything to get started with the final layout.
